The Bridal Dance

Last night we went to a special Bridal Couples evening at Arthur Murray. Francesca taught us a couple of ways to walk on to the floor (much less complicated than our own entrance) and how not to count while dancing. what to do when we stuff up, and how to walk off the dance floor. There were about 9 couples there and it was a really fun night. We got to see a couple who have had 15 lessons (and their wedding isn't until August!) perform their very sensual Rumba routine and another couple who have added a bit of hip hop to their routine (and they're not getting married until November!) We did a bit of social dancing at the end and when everyone left Trav and I practiced our dance a couple of times, I'm getting the hang of the entrance and we've sorted out the swivel bit and the last turns. I'm starting to freak out that we only have 2 lessons left - and we wouldn't even have time to book another one in unless we did it on the Saturday before we go!
